About The Founder

David Fink is the founder of Luminell, a company renowned for revolutionizing high-performance lighting in the global maritime industry. His journey began not in a boardroom, but on a small Danish farm, where lessons of stewardship and ingenuity shaped his approach to leadership. Driven by his Christian faith, David built Luminell on the principles of servant leadership and a deep commitment to solving real-world problems."

Following the acquisition of Luminell by Glamox, David remained with the company for nearly five years. He now operates as an entrepreneur, specializing in light technology while actively exploring emerging Artificial Intelligence. He continues his lifelong exploration of faith, family, and purpose-driven leadership.
He lives in Ålesund, Norway, with his wife, Heidi, and their three children.

Lately, as David has reflected on his transition into this new entrepreneurial chapter, those thoughts have turned into a personal book—a short, honest account of faith, family, business challenges, and growth.

The Heart of Our Name

The inspiration for the name of our company comes from one of the oldest symbols of enlightenment: the menorah.

For thousands of years, the Menorah has been the structure that holds the flame—a lampstand designed not to be seen for itself, but to lift the light high so it can illuminate the room.

When we founded our company, we desired to be that structure for others. We build the software and the tools that support people in their growth. But we realized that the most important part of the lamp is not the metal that holds it, but the spark it holds.

MEE is for the individual. It is for Me—the person, the founder, the human being seeking to fulfill their purpose.

NORAH is the ancient root word for Light.

Meenorah is the fusion of these two.

It is the belief that each individual is special and deserves to become the light they were created to be. We desire to provide the stage, the products, the software, and the supports that encourages "MEE" to become "NORAH."
